CAST:

ESSENCE ATKINS as “NANCY“: A black woman in her early forties. Unmarried with no children. Nancy has been winning Christmas awards for the past few years and never lets her neighbors, Doris and Julia, forget it. “Over the top” and self-important, Nancy truly believes she is the epitome of “Christmas spirit” and desires to be crowned the “Queen of Christmas.”  Nancy’s demeanor is really a front for her own insecurities. @essence_says

TERRI J. VAUGHN as “DORIS GRIFFIN”: A black woman in her mid-forties. Happily married with a college age daughter. Works as a hairdresser from her basement salon. Has always had aspirations to be a great performer but was often discouraged by her late mother. Doris has a long-standing (and sometimes friendly) family feud with her neighbor Julia, whom she grew up with. Doris believes she is the epitome of “Christmas spirit” and desires to be crowned the “Queen of Christmas.” @terrijvaughn

VANESSA BELL CALLOWAY as “JULIA MASON“: A black woman in her early fifties. Happily married to husband, Roosevelt, with a college age daughter, Vanessa. Julia owns a bakery with Roosevelt. Lately, the bakery has been in danger of closing due to lack of sales. Julia’s mother lives with the family and often encourages Julia to continue her long-standing (and sometimes friendly) family feud with her neighbor Doris, whom she grew up with. Julia believes she is the epitome of “Christmas spirit” and desires to be crowned the “Queen of Christmas. @vanessabellcalloway

AASHA DAVIS  as “LILY”:A black woman in her mid-thirties. Patrick St. Thomas’ personal assistant. Petite yet intense. Lilly is initially fiercely loyal to Patrick St. Thomas and believes in what he is doing. But she is slowly “waking up” to how he is a detriment to her community. @Aashadavis

HANNAH WHITLEY as “ANGELA MASON”: A young black woman in her early 20’s. Currently attending college. Vegan. “Save the planet” type of millennial. Unlike her mother, Angela feels that the family feud is outdated and silly. @whitleyhannah

TYLER WHITLEY as “VANESSA GRIFFIN”: A young black woman in her early 20’s. Doris’ daughter. Socially “woke.” Big hair with the “big” personality to match. The millennial type that is addicted to social media. Unlike her mother, Vanessa feels that the family feud is outdated and silly. @ty_kay

CARL GILLIARD as “CARL GRIFFIN”: A black man in his early fifties. Doris’ husband. Carl works as a handyman as a profession and as a hobby. He often finds himself drawn into the feud that Doris has with Julia. Carl loves Doris but is currently getting fed up with her feud which he feels leads to her neglecting him and their family. @Carlgilliard

GARY BUDOFF as “PATRICK ST. THOMAS”: Celebrated as the “Godfather of Black Cinema,” Patrick St. Thomas is somewhat of a mystery. Although his films perform well at the box office, they often play on negative stereotypes of “angry black woman.” Arrogant, close minded and manipulative, St. Thomas is willing to do whatever it takes to get the performance he wants. Many of Patrick St. Thomas’ fans would be shocked to learn that the “Godfather of Black Cinema” is an angry little white guy.
