FILM LOGLINE: A boutique owner facing eviction at Christmas gets the fashion assignment of a lifetime when she's chosen to style a handsome celebrity who's a playboy.
FILM SYNOPSIS: Mario plays Tedee Maxwell, a charming and handsome R&B singer whose known for his playboy lifestyle and lustful love songs, but his cold-hearted ways have hurt both his career and personal life. With pressure mounting from his audience to mature, his manager, Sarah, devises a plan to fix his image by faking a relationship with Raven Goodwin’s character Tiffany Ford, an unsuspecting stylist. Tiffany, a plus-sized fashion designer struggling to save her late mother’s boutique, has sacrificed everything to keep the business afloat while dreaming of launching her own line. Her outspoken best friend Ray'ah Jenkins played by Pretty Vee, supports her fashion dreams and pushes Tiffany to step out of her mother’s shadow and create her own designs. When Tedee and Tiffany’s fake relationship begins to blur the lines between business and love, things get complicated. RAVEN GOODWIN as “TIFFANY FORD”: Tiffany, a plus-sized African American fashion designer in Rosewood, owns Boutique De Ma Mere, which she inherited from her late mother along with its debt. She’s given up her luxurious lifestyle to save the struggling shop, living in its back room. While her eccentric style clashes with her mother’s classic brand, Tiffany is determined to preserve the legacy. Despite dreaming of launching her own fashion line and finding love, her main focus is keeping the boutique. |

CHERYL FRAZIER as “SARAH”: Sarah is a small build with an assuming demeanor, and has been Tedee’s Manager since he stepped onto the music scene at a very young age. With his parent’s blessing, Sarah took on the role of his “second mother” and cared for Tedee on and off the road. Sarah doesn’t play and protects Tedee with her life, to a point, that some would say his success is more important to her than him. |
