John Davis is the founder of Davis Entertainment, one of Hollywood’s most prolific production companies. In nearly four decades, Davis has produced over 100 feature film and television projects, grossing more than $5 billion worldwide.

On television, Davis Entertainment has put six network series on the air in the last four years including the international hit “The Blacklist,” “Magnum P.I.,” on the Network, and the upcoming “Rebel,” starring Katey Sagal.

Davis’ feature film titles include the Golden Globe-nominated “Dolemite Is My Name,” starring Eddie Murphy; the Academy Award-nominated biopic “Joy,” lead by Jennifer Lawrence; the Academy Award-nominated animated feature “Ferdinand”; the $100 million plus-grossing micro-budgeted sci-fi thriller “Chronicle”; the sci-fi thriller “The Predator”; the action comedy “Game Night,” starring Jason Bateman, Rachel McAdams and Kyle Chandler; and “Jungle Cruise,” starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, based on the Disney theme park ride.
