Joseph C. Wilson is currently an executive producer and co-showrunner of CBS’ hit drama series THE EQUALIZER, where he ascended from writer and co-executive producer in season one to executive producer in season two.

 

Born and raised in East Cleveland, Ohio, Wilson successfully completed a tour with the United States Army receiving an honorary discharge. After rediscovering his passion for bare-knuckle brawling and writing, he packed up his Honda Accord and headed west – to pursue his passion for writing.

 

Wilson sold his first pilot to the Network while completing the coveted WGA Showrunner Training Program and worked his way up to co-executive producer on NCIS: LOS ANGELES for the Network. Afterward, he signed an overall deal with Fox 21 TV Studios, including executive producing “The Chi” and “Queen of the South.”

 

Wilson currently resides in Los Angeles, Calif.
