Actor and host Manu Bennett brings a unique blend of charisma and talent to his diverse array of roles.
Bennett first captivated audiences worldwide as fan-favorite character Crixus in the acclaimed series “Spartacus,” where his portrayal of the indomitable gladiator earned him a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim. He further established this status with his performance as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke in the hit series “Arrow,” where his complex character and engaging storyline captivated fans of the superhero genre. Bennett also played the starring role of Allanon in THE SHANNARA CHRONICLES alongside Austin Butler. In addition, he played a major role in the New Zealand series, “The Gone.”
Bennett’s talents extend to the big screen with unforgettable performances including as Azog the Defiler, the lead villain in Peter Jackson’s “The Hobbit” trilogy. Most recently he can be seen playing starring roles in “Perfect Addiction” and the gripping Maori crime drama “Muru.”
Bennett’s journey in the performing arts began in Australia during his teenage years, eventually leading him to the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Los Angeles. His dedication and passion for acting quickly propelled him to international fame.
