Elwood Reid is an acclaimed novelist turned award-winning screenwriter and showrunner serving as the executive producer and showrunner for TRACKER, the #1 show on TV for the 2023-24 season. Prior to this role he was the showrunner and executive producer of the acclaimed series “Big Sky.”

In addition to serving as showrunner of the first season of the hit Showtime series THE CHI, Reid has created multiple television series, adapting Annie Proulx’s book “Barkskins” and creating the Peabody and Critics Choice award-winning series “The Bridge.”

A novelist by training, Reid’s work reflects his obsession with showcasing sophisticated yet relatable characters, and weaving narratives that resonate as both timeless and deeply relevant to our world today.

Reid splits his time between Montana and Los Angeles with his wife and five children.
