"Awed Couple" -- When Deacon and Kelly find new couple friends, Doug and Carrie must turn to their old reliable, yet slightly obsessive, couple friends, Neal and Marcy, on a rebroadcast of THE KING OF QUEENS, Wednesday, Aug. 24 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. While Doug and Carrie are at dinner with Neal and Marcy, they are introduced to Marc and Renne, with whom they have an instant connection. But when Doug later tries to make plans with their potentially new, much cooler couple friends, he discovers that he doesn't know their last name or their phone number. Now, Doug and Carrie set out to devise a plan that unfortunately involves spending more time with Neal and Marcy in order to retrieve more information about the new candidates.

When a checkout girl is distracted making personal calls and accidentally doesn't charge Carrie for her digital music player, Carrie walks out the store with free merchandise. But when Carrie is forced to wait out a blizzard in her local church, she starts feeling guilty for not saying anything to the checkout girl. Meanwhile, Doug can't stop himself from trying to discourage a young man who's thinking about letting his father-in-law move in with him, much like his situation with Arthur.

Meanwhile, Arthur devises a plan to pay back his debt to Spence and Holly by sneaking them into the movies for free.

Spence begrudgingly plays the role of Carrie's loving husband, but things get complicated when Carrie's client makes a pass at him. Meanwhile, Arthur throws a dinner party for his friends, but gets annoyed when Holly's Uncle Bernard (Hal Linden) steals the limelight with his showbiz stories.
