DIRECTOR LEON VANCE, PLAYED BY ROCKY CARROLL ON "NCIS," TO APPEAR IN THE NEW FALL SERIES "NCIS: LOS ANGELES"
Series regular Rocky Carroll, who plays Director Leon Vance in the hit CBS series NCIS, has been cast to play the same role as a recurring guest star in NCIS: LOS ANGELES. The character, based on the Director of the real NCIS agency, will follow an equivalent leadership role and oversee the NCIS and NCIS: LOS ANGELES teams. Carroll, who originally appeared as "NCIS Assistant Director Leon Vance," became a series regular on NCIS last season, corresponding with his character's promotion to Director.
"Rocky Carroll is an essential and beloved part of the NCIS team as Director Leon Vance," said NCIS and NCIS: LOS ANGELES Executive Producer Shane Brennan. "The extension of his character is a natural addition to NCIS: LOS ANGELES with Director Vance now managing operations on both coasts."
NCIS and NCIS: LOS ANGELES are produced by CBS Television Studios and Shane Brennan is the executive producer.
