Tim Conway and Vicki Lawrence reprise their roles as Greg's parents, Tom and Natalie Warner.

Upon retiring, Tom discovers a penchant for collecting Superman comic books and insists on dressing the part at home and in public. Natalie is mortified by his new hobby and enlists the help of Greg and Jimmy to help Tom find a more acceptable way to pass his time. But while trying to divert his father to a new hobby, Greg learns a secret about his dad's personal connection to Superman.
