DREW DANIEL WINS "BIG BROTHER 5" AND THE GRAND

PRIZE OF $500,000!!

STUDIO CITY, CALIF., Sept. 22 -- After being one of the final two remaining HouseGuests with Michael, Drew emerged triumphant last night as BIG BROTHER 5's grand Prize Winner of $500,000 based on the votes of his former housemates on the jury. As the second place winner, Michael receives $50,000.

After living in the BIG BROTHER 5 house for 82 days, Drew, from Urbana, Ohio, and Michael, from Durant, Okla., faced a jury consisting of the last seven evicted houseguests: Will Wikle, twins Adria Klein and Natalie Carroll, Marvin Latimer, Karen O'Neil-Ganci, Jennifer "Nakomis" Dedmon and Diane Henry. Mike Lubinski, Lori Valenti, Holly King, Scott Long and Jase Wirey were also present but were not part of the jury. After each of the jury members had the chance to ask the finalists questions, the seven members of the jury voted for whom they wanted to win. By a vote of 4 to 3, Drew became the grand-prize winner of $500,000. House Guests Will, Marvin, Karin and Diane voted for Drew to be the victor, while twins Adria and Natalie, along with his half-sister Nakomis, voted for Michael.

After leaving BIG BROTHER 5, Drew and Michael were met by their families and interviewed by Julie Chen about their experiences. Drew was reunited with his twin brother Ben and his parents, while Michael was reunited with his fiancé April and her son Chasen.
