CBS TELEVISION CITY RESEARCH CENTER IN LAS VEGAS WELCOMES ITS MILLIONTH VISITOR
The world-class CBS Television City Research Center in Las Vegas welcomed its millionth visitor this month.
Latoya Washington from New Jersey was the lucky millionth visitor to CBS’s Las Vegas facility. During her visit, Washington participated in a new television series study in one of the state-of-the-art screening rooms, and to mark the occasion, she received an array of television and Vegas-themed giveaways from the CBS Research Center and the MGM Grand Hotel.

Launched in April 2001, Television City embodies the vision of Poltrack as the industry’s top research facility testing television series, websites, advertisements, video games, new consumer electronics, products and concepts for CBS and other clients. Located inside the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Television City is open 365 days a year, processing more than 72,000 tourists annually from all 50 states and representing a geographic, demographic and psychographic cross-section of the U.S. consumer population. As a result, highly specific consumer samples can be easily recruited from a visitor population that has historically been highly inclined to participate in media, entertainment and advertising research efforts.
The facility offers survey collection, focus groups, one-on-one interviews, brainwave neuro-research, facial coding, eye tracking, HD video conferencing and real-time dial traces.
