Airing Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/5:00-8:00 PM, live PT)

On-Screen Credit: “Golden Globes® clips provided by Golden Globes, LLC and Dick Clark Productions, LLC”

The Following Guidelines Apply to Domestic, International Broadcasts, Online News and Social Media Sites:

All footage, clips or excerpts from each Program (“Clips”) may be used on a nonexclusive basis, subject to the restrictions set forth below, and may only be used in the segment of your media coverage related to the Program and for no other purpose whatsoever, without the prior written consent of CBS.

• Excerpts: You may use Program Excerpts, subject to the restrictions set forth below, on a non-exclusive basis solely in your Media Coverage for a period of forty-eight (48) hours AFTER THE END of the broadcast of the Program (“Coverage Period”). You must cease and/or remove any uses of Program Excerpts in Your Media Coverage after the Coverage Period, and any use of Program Excerpts at any time after the Coverage Period shall require our prior written permission.

• • Program Excerpts may not exceed thirty seconds (:30) in length, and you may not use more than a total of two minutes (2:00) of Program Excerpts in the aggregate in your Media Coverage.

  • In the case of national, international and internet broadcasters:

    • You may NOT air ANY Clips until the broadcast is over in the Eastern Time Zone; 
    • Between the conclusion of the broadcast in the Eastern Time Zone and the conclusion of the broadcast in the Pacific Time Zone, you may air no more than one (1) minute of Clips; and
    • Following the conclusion of the broadcast in the Pacific Time Zone, you may air up to an additional one (1) minute of Clips.
    • For local stations, Clips are embargoed from being aired until the Program has aired in your market.

• You may not remove or obscure the Program logo and/or any network logo that may appear in any Program Excerpts in any manner.

• Program Excerpts may only be used in the segment or portion of your Media Coverage specifically about the Program and for no other purpose whatsoever, without our prior written consent.

• You may not use any Program Excerpts to create any so-called GIFs. A reasonable selection of GIFs from key moments of the Program available for Media Coverage usage during and after the broadcast of the Program.

• Clearances: You are solely responsible for (i) obtaining and/or paying for any third-party permissions, clearances, or licenses required for your use of any Program Excerpts; and (ii) ensuring that your use of any Program Excerpts complies with any and all regulatory and/or broadcast standard(s) applicable to your Media Coverage and does not violate any applicable laws, regulations, and/or collective bargaining agreements, including, without limitation, rights of privacy and publicity. We make no representations or warranties regarding your use of the Program Excerpts or any third-party clearances which may be required in connection therewith.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

For the avoidance of doubt, all foregoing terms, conditions, and restrictions apply to any and all uses of your Media Coverage in any and all media, platforms, channels, and/or outlets, including, without limitation, traditional print and/or broadcast media and any form of digital media and/or internet exploitation.

The Golden Globe® name and Golden Globes logo (“Marks”) are registered trademarks of Golden Globes, LLC, and you may not use the Marks, other than for limited identification purposes as necessary in your Media Coverage. The Marks may not be used in a title of any kind or for any non-news, commercial purposes whatsoever.
