ALMA and Image Award-nominated actress Marisa Ramirez is known for her memorable starring roles in both primetime and daytime television. In 2015 she received the prestigious HOLA (Historic Organization of Latin Actors) Award for excellence in television.

Ramirez starred opposite Rob Lowe in the television movie “Prosecuting Casey Anthony,” as well as in the series “Against the Wall” and the mini-series “Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.” Her additional television credits include “Miracles” and “Mental.” Daytime fans know her well from THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, on the Network, and her award-winning role as Gia Campbell on “General Hospital.”

Ramirez lends her time and talent to causes that are important to her. Currently, she is a celebrity supporter of Best Friends Animal Society and a member of the Environmental Media Association’s Young Hollywood Board. Along with being an avid kickboxer, Ramirez enjoys teaching kickboxing classes. She began her career as a model and MTV host.
