LUCKY DOG: REUNIONS
“Photogenic Dogs” – Brandon reunites with the adopters of two former shelter dogs that were trained to become fashion models for photo shoots. (OAD 11/9/24)
EXTRAORDINARY WORLD WITH JEFF CORWIN
“Animal Healing” – Jeff Corwin joins the staff at the South Florida Wildlife Center on their daily mission to save Florida’s native wildlife, including a burrowing owl, red shouldered hawk and gopher tortoise, all suffering from injuries. Next, Jeff and the team at the Brady Hunter Foundation visit Lucky Horse Sanctuary where the farm animals have been saved from neglect and harm, and in turn, save people struggling with mental health issues. Jeff reveals what healing looks like in this heartwarming story that explores the animal-human relationship. (NEW)

“Conserving Cats, Creating Faces and Crafting Robots” – An animal care curator shows us how she’s helping to conserve small desert cat populations. Dr. Brain reveals why you sometimes see faces in inanimate objects. Then, we get crafty – building morse code robots! And we meet a textile engineer who’s making the sustainable fabric of the future. HOPE IN THE WILD
“Back to Nature” – It’s time for rehabilitated patients to return to the wild, including a pair of groundhogs, some snapping turtles and a bevy of birds. (OAD 11/9/24)

“The Force of the Horse” – Today, we meet a golden retriever who helps his handler find herself again after a scary experience abroad. Plus, a miniature horse named Honey always raises the spirits of her handler when she needs an extra lift. (OAD 4/6/19)

“Pop-Up Greeting Cards” – Host Alie Ward shows us: the art of the folding pop-up greeting cards; the teens creating techie tents for the homeless; the cargo carrier that follows you; and the coating for plastic bottles that gets the last drop. (OAD 11/9/24)
