EXTRAORDINARY WORLD WITH JEFF CORWIN
“Plastic, Pollution and Pelicans” – Jeff Corwin visits a critical habitat in southern Florida littered with plastic trash. He’s joined by the volunteers of Clean This Beach Up and the team to demonstrate the power of how individual action leads to larger impact. Then, Jeff partners with the Pelican Harbor Seabird Station where a variety of birds are being treated from injury. Jeff helps the staff prep one lucky osprey, injured by a hurricane, to return back into the wild and regain its vital role in the ecosystem. (NEW)
MISSION UNSTOPPABLE
“Skydiving, Secreting Poison and Skyscrapers” – Nabeel faces his fears and learns the physics behind indoor skydiving. Miranda spills the STEM Tea on why Honey is such a magical food. We take a Nature Side Quest to discover the weird ways animals use poison and venom in the wild kingdom, and Erica visits a construction site to see how STEM helps build skyscrapers. (OAD 11/16/24)
