Steven Molaro made his initial foray into the land of television as a producer for Nick at Nite online and as a creator and producer of games for Nickelodeon online. In 2000 Molaro moved from New York to Los Angeles to write for Nickelodeon’s “The Amanda Show.”

Following that, he continued working with creator and executive producer Dan Schneider on the kid-friendly hit shows “Drake and Josh” and “iCarly.” Following that, he worked on the kid-friendly hit shows “Drake and Josh” and “iCarly” and co-wrote the Nickelodeon TV movie “Merry Christmas Drake and Josh.”

In 2002 Molaro made the jump from cable to network television as a staff writer on “What I Like About You.” He continued working at Warner Bros. for several years, writing for “Freddie” and “The Class,” on CBS, and in 2006 he joined THE BIG BANG THEORY at its start. He has been happily writing nerd jokes there ever since.

In addition to writing for television, in the early 2000s Molaro created The Sneeze, a (currently hibernating) combination blog and online magazine. To this day, he can’t quite understand how something that he wrote alone, in his underwear, as a goof, has had over 18 million visitors. The Sneeze has won a Blogger’s Choice Award, has been featured in Harper’s Magazine, and was chosen by PC Magazine as one of the Top 100 Blogs on the Internet.

Molaro worked for the bulk of the ‘90s at Publishers Clearing House, where he designed junk mail that people threw away. A native of Queens, N.Y., Molaro currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.
