Danielle Pinnock is an actor, writer and content creator based in Los Angeles.

As an NBC Bob Curry Fellowship alum from The Second City Chicago, Pinnock is no stranger to television. For four seasons, Pinnock has recurred on the hit comedy YOUNG SHELDON as Ms. Ingram, on the Network, plus recurred opposite Ray Romano and Peter Bogdanovich in EPIX’s “Get Shorty.” Recently, she guest-starred on HBO’s “A Black Lady Sketch Show,” and has guested on NBC’s “This Is Us,” ABC’s “Scandal,” and Hulu’s “Dollface,” among others. A chameleon behind the mic, Pinnock lends her voice to multiple recurring animation roles for DreamWorks, Universal, Netflix and Cartoon Network.

As a content creator, Pinnock has kept us laughing all quarantine. She’s the creative genius behind the viral #Bridgerton recaps, “Daphne’s Diary,” garnering over 1.9 million views and counting, chronicling the full season of the hit series in 15-second hysterical clips. Pinnock is also the co-creator with LaNisa Renee Frederick of the viral online sketch series “Hashtag Booked,” which Forbes called one of the most “hilarious sketches” that help the world “laugh, to keep from crying” during the COVID-19 pandemic. With over 20 million views and counting, “Hashtag Booked” examines a raw slice of the #actorslife with searing specificity and laugh-out-loud improvisation and as 2020 Webby Honorees, the internet series is currently being developed as a half-hour comedy and has been featured by Fast Company, Essence, PopSugar, and Shondaland.

In addition to her on-screen work, Pinnock is a classically trained actor with over a decades’ worth of Off-Broadway, international and regional stage credits from theaters such as the Goodman, Geffen Playhouse and The Kennedy Center. Mentored by Anna Deavere Smith, Pinnock’s documentary one-woman show, “Body/Courage,” which she created for the stage from over 300 interviews conducted worldwide, is a rich exploration on body acceptance. Pinnock’s powerful work introduces a constellation of characters grappling with diverse body issues including weight, illness, disability, skin color, aging and gender transition. As a performer, she also brought these diverse subjects to vivid life onstage, relaying the stories of strangers and friends alike, plus members of her Jamaican family as well.

Raised in Northern New Jersey by her mother and grandmother, Pinnock is a proud first-generation Jamaican-American. She received her BA in Communications and Theatre from Temple University and graduated with First Distinction Honors with an MFA in Acting from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK.

Pinnock loves swimming, cooking and hosting events for her community. Her birthday is May 11. Pinnock can be followed on Instagram, Twitter and TikTok @BodyCourage.
