Joe Port has been writing and producing television for over twenty years alongside his writing partner Joe Wiseman. Port has produced many original television pilots and worked on notable series such as “The Office,” “New Girl,” and “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.” Most recently he and Wiseman developed the CBS comedy GHOSTS, based on the British series of the same name. The comedy was the 2021-2022 season’s highest rated and most-watched new broadcast series, as well as the #1 comedy series on streamer Paramount+.

Port, a native of Altoona, Pa., is a 1997 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a political cartoonist and drew a pretty good Ross Perot. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, toddler son and two tiny white dogs. On Twitter, Port can be followed @JoePort.
