Jason Ritter will next appear as a series regular opposite Kathy Bates in MATLOCK on CBS. Most recently, he starred in Howard Gordon’s anthology series “Accused” on FOX and can also be seen starring in Netflix’s “Raising Dion” and “Candy” on Hulu.
Ritter’s television starring roles include ABC’s “Kevin Saves the World” and Comedy Central’s ANOTHER PERIOD. His recurring roles include ABC’s “A Million Little Things,” “Goliath,” “Drunk History,” “Girls,” and “Parenthood,” for which he received an Emmy nomination.
Ritter’s film credits include the Emmy nominated HBO film “The Tale,” opposite Laura Dern; “Bitch”; “The Intervention,” directed by Clea Duvall; and “The Meddler,” opposite Rose Byrne and Susan Sarandon. He also voiced the lead role of Dipper Pines in Disney’s “Gravity Falls” and the supporting role of Fox Dad in “Slumberkins” for Apple TV+. He will next be heard voicing the lead role of Jonathan Fall in Netflix’s animated series “Captain Fall.”
His stage credits include “The City of Conversations” at the Wallis Annenberg Center; “Ghost Stories: The Shawl & Prairie Du Chien” and “The Beginning of August” at the Atlantic Theater Company; “Third” at the Lincoln Center Theater; “The Distance from Here” at the Almeida Theatre in London; “The Ruby Sunrise” and “Marvin’s Room” at National Public Radio; and “How I Spent My Thirteenth Birthday,” “The Reunion,” “Brown Paper Lunch Bags” and “No Boys Allowed” at Santa Monica Playhouse.
