Leah Lewis had her breakout performance in the Netflix feature film “The Half of It,” written and directed by Alice Wu. The film launched globally on Netflix after winning the Founders Award for Best U.S. Narrative Feature at the Tribeca Film Festival. Writer/director Peter Sohn fell in love with her performance and cast Lewis in the lead role of Ember in Pixar’s animated feature “Elemental.” The film debuted as the closing film at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, went on to be one of the top summer movies of 2023 and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film.
Lewis’ recent projects include the role of Rav in the Paramount animated feature film THE TIGER’S APPRENTICE alongside Sandra Oh and Michelle Yeoh, and the lead role of Lizzy in the feature film “Tripped Up.” Other notable credits include four seasons as George Fan in “Nancy Drew,” “Charmed,” “Guidance,” “Station 19,” “The Good Doctor” and “The Gifted.”
In addition to her acting, Lewis is an incredible singer, who has been writing her own music since the age of 15. In her free time, she enjoys writing, powerlifting, advocating for mental health care, getting active outdoors in nature, spending time with her family and creating a community of friends while traveling or resting between jobs.
