Mariel Molino is an extraordinary emerging talent who’s making a name for herself in both the U.S. and Latin America, thanks to her versatile roles across television and film.
Currently, Molino stars as Lala Dominguez opposite Austin Stowell in NCIS: ORIGINS. She was also recently seen in Tyler Chipman’s horror feature “The Shade,” which was released in September.
In addition, Molino is set to star in the second season of Max’s “VGLY,” a story of survival within the competitive world of Latin urban music, premiering in 2025.
Previously, Molino starred in Freeform’s “The Watchful Eye,” opposite Warren Christie and Kelly Bishop. The series, created by Julie Durk, followed Molino’s character as she maneuvered her way into working as a live-in nanny for an affluent family in New York City, where she quickly learned that everyone in the mysterious building had deadly secrets and ulterior motives.
In 2022, Molino made her U.S. television debut as a series regular in “Promised Land” and in 2021 led AFI’s short film “Lux Noctis,” which won the Grand Jury Award for Best Narrative Short at the Florida Film Festival.
Beginning her career in Mexico City, Molino’s previous television credits include “El Vato,” Netflix’s “Luis Miguel: La Serie,” “Narcos: Mexico,” Amazon’s “Juego de las Llaves,” “El Candidato,” Imagen TV’s “Muy Padres” and “La Negociadora.”
As a first-generation American, Molino takes pride in her Mexican, Italian and Jewish heritage. Her passion for acting began in theater, and she honed her skills at HB Studio in New York City and Anthony Meindl’s Actor’s Workshop in Los Angeles.
