Mexican American actress Mariel Molino has been acting since a young age and continues to make her mark in both English and Spanish language projects.

Molino was most recently seen starring in the family drama series “Promised Land” as Camila Sandoval, the youngest daughter of the Sandoval family, whose flirtatious, party-girl attitude masks a deeply flawed young woman who craves the achievements of her siblings. Molino started her career acting in Spanish-language projects, including the critically acclaimed telenovela “Papis Muy Padres,” Amazon’s comedy series “El Juego de las Llaves,” and thriller drama series “La Negociadora.” She has also appeared on Netflix’s “Narcos: Mexico” and “Luis Miguel: The Series.”

On the film side, Molino most recently starred in Amazon’s first original movie in Spanish, “Locas por el Cambio” (“Crazy for Change”). In this 2020 body swap comedy, Molino portrayed a wealthy and entitled girl who switches bodies with an overworked mother who feels overwhelmed with her responsibilities in life. In 2015, she also starred in the independent film “Quarter Life Coach.”

Molino grew up in San Diego in a Spanish-speaking home and later attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Molino currently splits time between Los Angeles and Mexico City. Follow her on Instagram @marielmolino.
