- Don Diamont
Don Diamont stars as Bill Spencer, often referred to as “Dollar Bill,” the dashing, ruthless and win-at-all-costs patriarch of the Spencer Media empire on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.
Prior to joining THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, Diamont portrayed Brad Carlton for 22 years on the Network’s daytime mega-hit THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, which was created by the late William J. Bell and his wife, Lee Phillip Bell. Also, he played Carlo Forenza on “Days of Our Lives.”
Diamont appeared in the hit film “Anger Management” with Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler. Additionally, he had the lead role, opposite Academy Award-winning actor Jack Palance, in “Marco Polo.”
In 1990 Diamont made history as the first actor in a daytime drama series to be named one of People magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People.” Also, he was listed in the magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” issue in 2009. He is the only daytime drama performer to receive both accolades.
A New York native, Diamont currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Cindy Ambuehl Diamont, and their children. Inspired by his family, Diamont wrote an autobiography, My Seven Sons and How We Raised Each Other, which will be released on May 29 by Hachette Publications.
Diamont founded the Don Diamont/Alyssa Mazur Foundation at UCLA’s MS Research and Treatment Center to raise funds for MS research, after his niece, Alyssa, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Diamont was named Ambassador of the Year by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for his devoted work and efforts to finding a cure for the disease.
Diamont’s birthday is Dec. 31. Follow him on Twitter @don_diamont and Instagram @dondiamont.
