Laneya began her career as a model at just four years old, landing significant campaigns for iconic brands like Ralph Lauren, Guess, and Old Navy. By age nine, she transitioned into acting, starring in the wildly popular music video “Wake Me Up” by Avicii and appearing in national commercial campaigns for Old Navy and the beloved doll Betty Spaghetty, among others. Born and raised in San Francisco, Laneya’s family relocated to Houston, Texas, when she was 15. During high school, she discovered her passion for live theater, and in 2022, she chose to pursue a degree in performing arts at the University of Houston. While there, she worked with renowned directors on productions like Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and original student-written works, honing her craft and deepening her love for storytelling. In a pivotal moment last year, Laneya was cast in the feature film 72 HOURS, directed by Christian Sesma. This opportunity led her to make the bold decision to pause her college education to pursue her acting career full-time. Now, she’s set to make her television debut on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, beginning an exciting new chapter in her career.
