Lisa Yamada joins the cast of THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL in the role of “Luna,”

a college student in fashion design who arrives at Forrester Creations surrounded by mystery, with a secret.

Currently starring in Freeform’s “Cruel Summer” Season 2, which premiered in June 2023, her previous television and streaming credits include Hulu's "Little Fires Everywhere," Amazon's "The Kicks," Nickelodeon's "Game Shakers,” CW’s “All American,”  ABC’s “Promised Land,” Freeform's "Party of Five," CBS' "Man With A Plan" and "Extant,” as well as "You're the Worst” for FX. Yamada had supporting leads in the feature films “Crushed” and “Smashed” and dubbed two major supporting lead roles in Netflix’s “All of Us Are Dead,” as Hyo-Ryeong and Ah-Yi in “The Sound of Magic.” 

Yamada will appear as “Sophie” in the upcoming film “I Wish You All The Best” directed by Tommy Dorfman.

Fluent in Japanese, Yamada’s interests include travel, fashion, make-up, and spending time with friends and family. She is passionate about mental health and body positivity.
