Tom Purcell, executive producer on THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT, gets paid for writing jokes. Previously, the Emmy Award winner served as executive producer on “The Colbert Report.” His additional television credits include “Grounded For Life” and “Cosby.” Prior to working in television, Purcell wrote and acted in corporate industrials, sold material to The National Lampoon and once wrote dialogue for a talking lawyer doll.

            Purcell is a Chicago area native and a graduate of Loyola University in Chicago.
