Allison Lanier joined the cast of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS in May 2022 as Summer Newman, the daughter of legacy characters Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

In 2024, Allison received a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

Allison grew up in the Atlanta area and moved to New York City after high school to pursue an acting and modeling career. In New York, she studied at the renowned William Esper Studio.

Her television and film credits include a recurring role on Amazon’s “Red Oaks,” and the independent films “It Happened in LA” and “Mia.”

In her spare time, she enjoys visiting flea markets, interior design and volunteering at local animal shelters.
