Nathan Owens joined the cast of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS in January 2025 as Holden Novak, a savvy businessman with ties to several residents in Genoa City.

Owens was born and raised in Northern California. He initially studied kinesiology in college but then he moved to New York City, where he found success in the modeling world. After capturing major campaigns with Ralph Lauren Fragrances, GAP, Vuori, Izod and Abercrombie and Fitch, he set his sights on acting, moved to Los Angeles and studied with Steven Anderson at Actor’s Work and Shari Shaw Studios. 

His first major television role was in 2012 as Cameron Davis on “Days of Our Lives.” He later went on to perform in the 2013 ABC Showcase. Other television credits include his series regular role as Jesse Morgan on “Devious Maids” as well as recurring roles on “Batwoman” as Ocean and “9-1-1: Lonestar” as Julius. He’s also most recently appeared in leading roles in the holiday movies “A Season to Remember” and “The Christmas Sitters.” Nathan was also one of the original hosts for the NBC show “First Look.”

In his spare time, he enjoys singing and playing guitar, reading, personal fitness, hiking, snowboarding, surfing, golfing, playing basketball and watching almost any sport, especially the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers, but Nathan truly cherishes his time spent with his family, friends and dog, Izzy.
