11.03 Million Viewers Tune in For His Farewell

 

LOS ANGELES – June 18, 2024 – Pat Sajak’s final episode as host of “Wheel of Fortune” delivered the syndicated series’ best ratings in over four years, with 11.03 million viewers tuning in for his final bow.

His last episode, which aired on Friday, June 7, was the most watched telecast for the week among homes, with a 6.22 rating, and total viewers, with 11.03 million, versus all broadcast, cable and syndicated programming (excluding sports).

Sajak’s goodbye also fueled a stellar weekly performance, with all 5 episodes landing in the top 15 telecasts for the week among homes and total viewers.

  • 11.03 million viewers watched Pat Sajak’s farewell, achieving “Wheel of Fortune’s” largest viewership in 1,072 episodes (since Wednesday, 4/29/2020)

  • Pat Sajak’s final episode (Friday, 6/7/24) was the most watched telecast for the week among homes (6.22 rating) and total viewers (11.03 million), versus all broadcast, cable and syndicated programming (excluding sports).

  • “Wheel of Fortune” is the #1 syndicated show of the week with a 5.0 HH rating and 8.5 million viewers.

  • “Wheel of Fortune” hit an 18-week high in homes with a 5.0 HH rating, and grew +16% vs. the same week year-ago’s 4.3 HH rating.

  • All five (5) of “Wheel of Fortune’s” telecasts ranked within the top 15 highest rated among homes and most watched with total viewers (000s) for the week (out of nearly 28,000 broadcast, cable and syndicated telecasts).
