New York, NY - March 5, 2009 -   INSIDE EDITION reports that DNA results indicate an 88.7% probability that Suzan Lewis is related to singer Gary Lewis, oldest son of Jerry.  The results come years after Suzan has tried to get Jerry Lewis to acknowledge her as her biological father.

To help her find out, Jerry's oldest son Gary - of Gary Lewis and the Playboys fame - agreed to a DNA request by Inside Edition to test the claims of Suzan Lewis.

He tells Inside Edition that since meeting her several years ago, he has always believed that they shared a father.  Suzan's late mother claimed she had an affair with the comedic legend which resulted in her birth in 1952.

Suzan, whose legal name is Suzan Minoret, met the man she has believed to be her father only once when she approached him in the lobby of a Paris hotel 30 years ago.  She tells INSIDE EDITION that his agent contacted her the next day and asked her to stay away from his client.

Jerry Lewis, who just received an Oscar for his humanitarian work, has never publicly acknowledged Suzan as his daughter and declined comment for an INSIDE EDITION report last month on her paternity claims.  

Gary Lewis tells Inside Edition he agreed to the test because he "thinks everybody deserves to know where they came from and who they are."

Suzan hopes to use her new found fame by helping create awareness for homelessness - a situation she has experienced first hand.
