KEVIN FEDERLINE ON HIS PUBLIC WEIGHT GAIN: "I LOOKED PREGNANT" AND HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH BRITNEY SPEARS: "I'M HAPPY WHERE WE ARE NOW"

February 4, 2010 (Los Angeles, CA)-- ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT's KEVIN FRAZIER sat down with Kevin Federline on the ET stage for a new interview to air tonight, February 4th.

Federline opens up about his public weight gain, in which he ballooned to around 240 pounds, "I saw pictures of myself and what I looked like and it was upsetting. It's [usually] easy for me to brush stuff off of my shoulder. But then I had my own mother telling me she's worried about my health. I couldn't run around with my children as much and was being lazy and over-eating. I've always been a fit guy, so those were wake up calls for me."

How did he let his weight get out of control? "It was just change in my life. I'm getting older, my metabolism slowed down, I wasn't dancing anymore. I loved to eat pizza and pasta so between not working out and turning 30 years old, it started coming on real fast."

On his decision to join the cast of VH1's "Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp," he says, "I looked pregnant. When I see a pictures [of me] like that and people are calling me K- Fat, I had to do something about it. At my biggest, I was over 240."

Among those joining him at boot camp is Shar Jackson, his ex and mother of two of his kids. "We're really good friends for the sake of our kids," he says. "We're doing this for our children."

When asked about his relationship with ex-wife Britney Spears, he says, "Me and Britt are good. I don't talk about those things anymore. It's in the past. We've come a long way and I'm happy where we are now. Everyone knows we had a tough road."

VH1's "Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp" premieres Monday on VH1.
