May 18, 2010 (Los Angeles, CA) -- ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT sat down with "Glee" guest star Idina Menzel for a new interview to air tonight, May 18th.

Known for her roles in the theater productions of Wicked and Rent, theater star Menzel jokes about her kissing scene with Matthew Morrison's character Will Schuester, "Making out may be a little nice, mauling him is more the word."

On the rumors that she is playing the birth mother to Lea Michele's character Rachel Berry, the actress is keeping mum, but does confirm that the two are singing Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" on the tonight's episode. "When they say I look like her, I take that as a compliment," Menzel says. "When they say I could play her mother, I'm not so sure. Now her older sister... But I'll take what I can take."

"It's just so great that television has embraced a musical," Menzel says of the breakout show. "Music is the universal language and [the show] celebrates that."

Menzel says she and husband Taye Diggs are "avid fans" of the show, "My husband and I Tivo ‘Glee.' We were jealous we weren't on it!" She also hints that Diggs might be making an appearance on "Glee" at some point, "He's a great song-and-dance man. Not everybody knows that," she tells ET.
