DANIEL PELOSI STRONGLY DENIES HE MURDERED MILLIONARE TED AMMON ON MONDAY’S ‘DR. PHIL’

In A Jailhouse Interview With Dr. Phil, Pelosi Blames Sex, Lies And A Missing Video Tape

As To Why He Is Wrongly Behind Bars

(Hollywood, CA – May 18, 2012) - Convicted murder Daniel Pelosi continues to claim his innocence in the death of Long Island millionaire Ted Ammon in an interview with Dr. Phil that airs this Monday, May 21, 2012 (check local listings). Dr. Phil recently sat down with Pelosi at the Great Meadow Correctional Facility in Comstock, New York to ask him tough questions in hopes of finding out what really happened.

Ammon was found murdered in his home in the fall of 2001.  At the time of his death, Ammon was going through a bitter divorce and many suspected his wife, Generosa Ammon, had arranged for her lover Pelosi to carry out the deed.  Generosa Ammon, however, was never charged and she died of cancer in 2004.  That same year the case was tried and Pelosi was convicted of second degree murder despite the lack of physical evidence.  He is currently serving a 25-years-to-life term and has served nearly eight years of his sentence.

When Dr. Phil asked Pelosi if he had killed Ammon, if he was present at the murder or had any part in planning it, the former handyman vehemently denied all three, but says he knows who did it.  The evidence Pelosi says will prove his innocence is the surveillance system in Ammon's home that will show how the millionaire died.  Pelosi claims he removed the hard drive from the system and threw it into a Long Island Canal.  So far no one has been able to find it, but Pelosi says he can take investigators directly to the hard drive.  Pelosi also tells Dr. Phil he feels the people who killed Ammon did not go there with that intention, but were sent there by Generosa Ammon to intimidate her former husband and it turned deadly. Also appearing on the show is Generosa Ammon’s close friend Beverly Lake Wilkes, who admits when she found out Ammon had been killed, she immediately suspected that her friend was involved.  In addition, Dr. Phil speaks with Dominick Scalise, Pelosi’s jail alcohol abuse counselor who believes he is the fall guy for the murder.
