Physician, Author and ABC News Senior Medical Contributor Becomes Recurring Co-Host on the Award-Winning Syndicated Daytime Series

(Hollywood, CA – October 14, 2013) – Board-certified OB/GYN Dr. Jennifer Ashton will join the Emmy® Award-winning daytime talk show The Doctors, and will make her debut as a recurring co-host tomorrow, Tuesday, October 15, it was announced today by show Creator and Executive Producer Jay McGraw.  Ashton, who also serves as ABC News Senior Medical Contributor, joins ER physician Dr. Travis Stork, cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Andrew Ordon, pediatrician Dr. James Sears, urologist Dr. Jennifer Berman, family medicine physician and sexologist Dr. Rachael Ross and physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist Dr. Ian K. Smith.  

Best known to TV viewers for her work on ABC News, “Good Morning America” and “World News with Diane Sawyer,” Ashton is an award-winning physician and journalist and former co-host of the ABC daytime TV series “The Revolution,” but also takes great pride in being both a mother and triathlete, and maintains a private medical practice in Englewood, NJ.
