Jackson Returns Friday To Play For 11th Win And Possible Tie For Fourth Place

On All-Time Consecutive Wins List

CULVER CITY, CALIF. (October 8, 2015) – Matt Jackson, a 23-year-old paralegal from Washington, D.C., won his 10th consecutive game of JEOPARDY! today; with this win, he has amassed $289,411 in prize money.

Jackson returns to face two new challengers Friday, October 9, when another milestone is within his grasp: if he wins, he will be tied for fourth place on the all-time consecutive wins list with 11. Currently in fourth place is Arthur Chu (Broadview Heights, Ohio), whose 11-game streak last season made him one of the most talked-about contestants in JEOPARDY! history.

“Arthur is an excellent player…his off-the-charts willpower to win the game, and the huge efforts he put into mastering it, will definitely inspire future contestants for years to come,” said Jackson. “I do think that, as individuals, our playing styles and personalities are actually pretty different, so I wouldn't force the head-to-head comparisons too much.”
