New York, NY — October 11, 2016 – Airing on Tuesday, October 11th is the second part of INSIDE EDITION’s exclusive interview with Jill Harth, the woman who accused Donald Trump of repeatedly sexually assaulting her in 1992 and 1993.
Harth tells INSIDE EDITION’s Steven Fabian that she first met Trump in 1992 when they were negotiating a deal to stage a beauty pageant at a Trump casino in Atlantic City. She claims that Trump repeatedly groped her over the course of three months.
She says that a photo of her and Trump at a dinner at the Plaza Hotel captures the very moment he groped her for the first time, and that the photo was taken by her ex-husband, George Houraney, whom she was dating at the time. “That shows how brazen he was,” she adds.
Harth says that at the time, she didn’t go to the police because she was afraid of compromising the business deal. “I wanted to make this deal happen,” she says.
On another occasion, at Trump’s Mar-A-Largo estate, Harth tells INSIDE EDITION that Trump came onto her at a business meeting. “He wanted to have the business meeting in the bed. He’s a big guy. He was forceful and he pulled me into the room,” she says. “I was pushing him off and I was like, ‘Would you stop it? I didn’t come here for this.’ I was angry.”
In 1997, Harth filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Trump, but later withdrew it, she says, as a condition for settling a breach-of-contract lawsuit suit she and Houraney filed against Trump around the same time.
Shortly afterwards, Harth and Houraney divorced and in 1998, Harth went on to briefly date Trump, who was separated from Marla Maples at the time. She explains to INSIDE EDITION why she dated him after she accused him of sexual assault.
“Here I have Donald Trump calling me, saying ‘I love you,’ I want you to come up and see me,” she says. “I’m thinking to myself, if he’s still pursuing this after all this, the lawsuit and everything, maybe somehow this can turn into a real relationship,”
But Harth says Trump was not an ideal partner. “I was getting scrutinized like I was a piece of cattle. He wanted me to get a boob job,” she says.
After Trump declared for the Presidency, Harth sent him emails offering her support and makeup services. She defends those emails saying that she was just looking for work.
“I was trying to get a job with him,” she says, and adds, “Maybe it was not well thought out.”
Harth also claims that the Trump campaign asked her to denounce her sexual assault allegations against Trump. She tells INSIDE EDITION, “They wanted me to say that I made up the whole groping thing, and I wasn’t going to do that.”
A Trump spokesperson gave this statement to INSIDE EDITION, “Mr. Trump denies each and every statement made by Ms. Harth as these 24-year-old allegations lack any merit or veracity.”
Harth responds to the statement from the Trump campaign, saying, “To have his staff say that I’m making this up. I feel like he was trying to leave me again for road kill. And that’s not happening.”
