DEBORAH NORVILLE’S 25^TH ANNIVERSARY AS ANCHOR

New York, NY — March 5, 2020 – INSIDE EDITION, CBS Television Distribution’s #1 syndicated, daily newsmagazine, celebrates Deborah Norville’s 25^th anniversary as anchor on Thursday, March 5^th with an in-show tribute highlighting her work over the years.

Deborah, a two-time Emmy winner and Broadcasting & Cable inductee, joined INSIDE EDITION on March 6, 1995, and is the longest sitting anchor on a daily television news program. On Thursday’s show, she will share some of her favorite moments from the past 25 years. 

“For 25 years, INSIDE EDITION has given me a front row seat to the biggest stories of our time,” Deborah says.

During the show’s tribute, Deborah takes a walk down memory lane revisiting her first day at INSIDE EDITION, the time she anchored the show from the maternity ward shortly after her third baby was born, the time she entered the music world with her pop song and music video, “Gonna Keep on Movin,” and the personal experience she shared with viewers when she underwent surgery for thyroid cancer last year. 

In honor of Deborah’s silver anniversary, TV personalities also send their well wishes on the major milestone, with congratulations from the anchors of CBS This Morning and TODAY, CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell, the co-hosts of The Talk, Judge Judy, Vanna White, and many more.

The INSIDE EDITION team will also surprise Deborah with a special 25^th anniversary cake, made by Carlo’s Bakery, on-set during Thursday’s show.
