New York, NY - March 3, 2009 - Speaking exclusively with Inside Edition, ‘Octo-Ex' Marcos Gutierrez denies that any of Nadya Suleman's children are his.  He also claims that he and Suleman separated in 2000 because they were unable to conceive children together.

Gutierrez: "She was my ex-wife...They are not my kids, but I wish her the best...I still want her to be happy.  Happiness for her is to have all these kids."

Gutierrez, who married ‘Octomom' in 1996, tells Inside Edition that their divorce was not finalized until January of 2008.  He is now remarried with two children of his own.

Gutierrez: Suleman's "not a bad person...She's a great person with a great heart...I think she's going to be a great mother."

Gutierrez tells Inside Edition that he is concerned for Suleman and speaks out in her defense.

Gutierrez: "Right now, she has to seek a lot of help...This position is going to be hard for her on her own."
