A DR PHIL EXCLUSIVE: THE EMACIATED 5-YEAR-OLD BOY POLICE SAY WAS HELD CAPTIVE UNDER THE STAIRS

(Los Angeles, CA – April 23, 2014) – The biological mother of 5-year-old Jordan Bleimeyer, the severely malnourished boy that authorities allege was hidden in a small, dark closet under the stairs of his stepmother’s Houston home speaks out for the first time on Thursday, April 24, 2014 (check local listings).  Windy Hall tells Dr. Phil about her heart-wrenching reunion with the son she says she’d spent two years desperately searching for.

Police say they were responding to a fight that broke out between a man and his 16-year-old stepson in Spring, TX and, upon arrival at the scene, were shocked to hear the teen say the fight with his stepfather started because he was angry that his 5-year-old stepbrother was being confined in a closet under the stairs.  Following a search, cops located the child and soon released photos that stunned the nation. The photos show that Jordan Bleimeyer was skin and bones, wearing only a diaper. Police say he weighed just 29lbs when they found him, and that the little boy couldn’t even walk.

Hall reveals to Dr. Phil what it was like as a mother to see her son in a hospital bed for the first time after his rescue; describing him as bruised, emaciated and, according to his doctors, on the brink of death.  Hall shares what Jordan has told her about the abuse he allegedly endured, and tells Dr. Phil about his recovery process.  Dr. Phil also sits down with the boy’s step-mother’s attorneys, who deny involvement by their client in any abuse, and has the first look inside the closet where it is alleged this child was locked up and starved.

“When I walked into that room, the child laying in that bed had the same eyes and the same smile and the same voice, but he did not look like the baby that I had seen two years before that, and it tore my heart up,” Hall tells Dr. Phil.

Dr. Phil tells Windy, “Guilt is like a rocking chair.  It’s something to do but you don’t go anywhere.  What he needs at this point, is his mother.”
