Drew: There was a story about a casting director and I was wondering if you would tell it because it seems like a moment that may have changed your life.

Joseph: Yeah, it did. This was the story of the first audition I ever went on. It was for a ‘Red Lobster’ commercial, and I had to go in and sing and I got in there and froze, couldn’t do it, and once I had finished stumbling through the song the casting director looked me in the eyes and said that was great thank you. And what I love about this is he didn’t have to do that, and it probably would’ve destroyed me at six years old and I probably never would have gone on another audition again because I would have been traumatized and I wouldn’t have become an actor, but because this guy took a couple extra minutes in his day to be kind, now I get to be here and doing this and talking to you. I don’t know who it was but I’m so grateful to that guy.

Drew: If you are the man who set the example of how we should treat each other and changed the trajectory of Joseph’s life…please find us. Joseph Gordon-Levitt…eons ago you changed his life. Thank you for sharing that story…how we treat each other has the most tremendous effects on the rest of our lives.

Drew: Which leads me directly to Steven Spielberg and working with him. May I ask what your experience working with him was like, and you were about to go into directing yourself.

Joseph: That was the thing, I was about to direct my first feature film ‘Don Jon’ when we shot ‘Lincoln’ when I got to work with him, and so obviously I got the opportunity to observe one of the greats. I was just watching him like a hawk the whole time and one of the things that I noticed was he didn’t have a shot list and at one point I actually worked up the courage to say Steven, do you have a shot list? And he was like well no, here let me show you, I like to watch what you guys do first and then I figure it out. I’m like, you just figure it out, these Spielbergian cinematic shots that you make…he can just kinda whip them up, he watches what the actors do…he can just see it.

Drew: Any fly on the wall moments from ‘Deadpool?’

Morena: I will say, the second film I shot all of my scenes underwater, and that never made it in the movie. And I was in a panic, like I was panicked the entire time, I don’t scuba dive…and it was like another ten feet above the ceiling here. And this was I think the word for I need air, and this was the word for get me out of here, and I was always doing this and they’d like have to de-strap me from the chair.

Drew: And I’m sure you’re weighted down so you’re not floating up.

Morena: Yeah, you’re weighted down, it’s terrifying.

Drew: Give me a fly on the wall moment from ‘Gotham.’

Morena: That show has a real special place in my heart of course, because it’s where I met my husband. And we shot together for five years, we became a real family, I had a baby. He wrote the last episode that we ever shot…and the very last thing scene we shot after five years was our characters getting married and he wrote this beautiful speech that Harvey gave that was very personal to us and had moments that really resonated with our personal life. Meant a lot.

Darcey: Well for me I have some breaking news, I’m no longer with Georgi…the right one’s out there somewhere.

Ross: Are you ready?

Darcey: Yes, single and ready to mingle.

Ross: And what’s going on with your love life?

Stacey: Still married…seven years together, obviously we met before any tv show.

Ross: I can feel the energy…just looking at you, I’m so happy I’ve spent so many hours in bed with you. It’s the first time I’ve ever said that to two women. But I just have to say you share your life, so just thank you for opening your life because I have been invested for a very long time.
