JASON KURTZ
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER & SHOWRUNNER
Jason Kurtz serves as executive producer and showrunner of THE DREW BARRYMORE SHOW, the nationally syndicated daytime show hosted by Drew Barrymore.
An award-winning producer, Kurtz has had a long career in daytime television. Kurtz spent nearly a decade at NBCUniversal creating and producing several first-run, cable and digital concepts. During his tenure Kurtz was executive producer and showrunner of “Harry,” the daytime entertainment show hosted by Harry Connick, Jr. Additionally, Kurtz was the co-creator and co-executive producer for “Steve Harvey,” launching the show in 2012. During his four seasons there, “Steve Harvey” won two Daytime Emmy Awards for Best Talk Show Informative.
Kurtz began his career as a talent assistant on the Emmy Award-winning, “Rosie O'Donnell Show.” Kurtz’s specialty is daytime variety with credits including “The Nate Berkus Show,” “The Queen Latifah Show,” “The Bonnie Hunt Show” and “The Tony Danza Show,” amongst others.
