When an amateur hockey player is found lying on the ice with a fatal gash to his neck after being involved in an aggressive pile up, Grissom, Catherine and Sara are called to the crime scene to investigate if it's an accident or a murder. Meanwhile, Warrick gets involved with a lounge singer when he and Nick investigate the fatal heroin overdose of her drummer.
