EMMY AWARD-WINNER BOB BARKER RETURNS TO PRIME TIME

WITH "THE PRICE IS RIGHT SALUTES THE UNITED STATES NAVY,"

TO BE REBROADCAST FRIDAY, JULY 4

THE PRICE IS RIGHT SALUTES THE UNITED STATES NAVY, hosted by Emmy Award-winner Bob Barker, returns to prime time with a special honoring American men and women in uniform, will be rebroadcast Friday, July 4 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The July 4 episode will feature an all-Navy audience from which all contestants will be selected. (Originally broadcast 5/17/02)

THE PRICE IS RIGHT, now in its 31st season and television's longest-running game show, also stars announcer Rod Roddy and "Barker's Beauties" - models Claudia Jordan, Heather Kozar and Nikki Ziering.

"Bob Barker's popularity as well as the enduring success of THE PRICE IS RIGHT have made them indelible favorites with viewers of all ages," said Jack Sussman, Senior Vice President, Specials, CBS Entertainment. "It is once again a pleasure to bring Bob's incomparable talents to prime time. In addition, the primetime episode also allows us to pay tribute to the men and women of the military, of whom we're all so proud and grateful."

Syd Vinnedge, a senior executive with FremantleMedia, which owns the show, said, "Bob is a Navy veteran and THE PRICE IS RIGHT is about as American as apple pie. The prizes offered will include sport cars, luxury cars, boats and exotic vacations.

THE PRICE IS RIGHT SALUTES THE UNITED STATES NAVY is a Mark Goodson Production in association with FremantleMedia, North America, Inc. Bob Barker is executive producer, Phillip Wayne Rossi and Roger Dobkowitz, the producers and Bart Eskander, the director. The daytime series is broadcast Monday-through-Friday (11:00 AM-12:00 Noon ET, 10:00-11:00 AM/PT).
