“60 MINUTES” LISTINGS FOR SUNDAY, JUNE 5, 2016-REVISED
Dear Editor: Please note the two new stories replacing previously announced lead segment.
THE GREATEST – 60 MINUTES revisits this classic 1996 segment on Muhammad Ali, who died this weekend. Ed Bradley's touching profile shows a former athlete still adored by fans who won't let Parkinson’s disease prevent him from helping others or affect his sharp wit. John Hamlin is the producer.
A NEW DIRECTION IN DRUGS – Who better than a recovering addict to be in charge of the War on Drugs as it begins to consider addiction as more of a disease to treat than a crime to stamp out. Scott Pelley interviews Michael Botticelli, the director of National Drug Control Policy. Denise Schrier Cetta is the producer.
LITTLE JAZZ MAN – Joey Alexander plays jazz like a veteran of decades, but he’s just 12-years old. Anderson Cooper reports on this jazz prodigy, one of the rarest flowers in music’s garden. Michael Gavshon and David Levine are the producers.
