CBS News’ national security correspondent David Martin has the first television interview with journalist Bob Woodward, the author of an explosive new book looking inside President Donald Trump’s White House, for CBS SUNDAY MORNING. Martin will preview the story tonight on the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH JEFF GLOR (6:30 PM, ET) and Wednesday, Sept. 5 on CBS THIS MORNING (7:00-9:00 AM, ET).

Martin’s extended interview with Woodward will be featured on CBS SUNDAY MORNING to be broadcast Sunday, Sept. 9 (9:00 AM) on the CBS Television Network.

Martin recently sat down with the award-winning journalist, who talked about the reporting for his book, Fear: Trump in the White House, which is published by Simon & Schuster, a division of CBS. The book, due out Sept. 11, has made headlines for the level of detail in which Woodward describes the inner workings of the Trump Administration.
