48 HOURS: “The Disappearance of Kristin Smart” was Saturday’s #1 broadcast at 10:00 PM with viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Saturday, Nov. 28. The broadcast delivered 2.78 million viewers.

Saturday’s broadcast featured 48 HOURS and Jonathan Vigliotti’s report on the 1996 disappearance of Kristin Smart, who was a college freshman at California Polytechnic State University when she vanished after attending a nearby party. Police have had a suspect since early on in the investigation, but no one has been charged with her disappearance.
