The broadcast will cover all aspects of design from Jerry Seinfeld’s chat with Anthony Mason about the nuts and bolts of comedy to Richard Schlesinger’s report on the design of shaker furniture.

Lee Cowan reports on the challenges faced by leaders of Charleston and Savannah in balancing moving forward, while still honoring the pasts of those two cities, while Serena Altschul profiles Abe Morell, a photographer who creates images with a camera obscura.

Among some of the other stories are Susan Spencer’s look how some old products are new again; Luke Burbank reports on high-end, yet low-cost products made for folks who couldn’t otherwise afford them; Mo Rocca finds out what it takes to be a window washer; and Mark Strassmann looks at the craftwork of low country sweetgrass baskets.
