CAROLYN CONNOLLY JOINS CBS TELEVISION STATIONS AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, HUMAN RESOURCES

NEW YORK – Jan. 21, 2020 – Carolyn Connolly has been named Senior Vice President, Human Resources, CBS Television Stations. The announcement was made today by Peter Dunn, President, CBS Television Stations, and Nancy Phillips, ViacomCBS Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer.

Connolly, who has been with CBS Corporation (now ViacomCBS) for 12 years as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Simon & Schuster, is based in New York. She assumes responsibility for overseeing the station group’s HR function following the retirement of Robin Bona last year. In this role, Connolly will lead human resources strategy for the group, as well as programs and processes, cultural and leadership development, employee education and development, and compensation and benefits for the division.

Prior to joining Simon & Schuster in 2007, Connolly spent 20 years as Vice President of Human Resources for the wealth management and private banking businesses at the United States Trust Company of New York.

Connolly received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rutgers University, then graduated summa cum laude with an M.B.A. in management from Monmouth University.
