CBS NEWS TO DELIVER SPECIAL COVERAGE OF THE MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR COLIN POWELL
CBS News will deliver special coverage today, Friday, Nov. 5 of the memorial service for Colin Powell, the retired four-star general, first Black U.S. secretary of state, and former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. CBS News will deliver a special report to be broadcast on the CBS Television Network and live-streamed on CBSN, CBS News’ 24/7 streaming news service, the CBS News app and on Paramount+.

CBS EVENING NEWS Anchor and Managing Editor Norah O’Donnell will anchor a CBS News special report at approximately 12:00 PM, ET. Joining O’Donnell for the special coverage will be FACE THE NATION moderator and chief foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan in the studio; chief White House correspondent Nancy Cordes at Washington National Cathedral; and national security correspondent David Martin at the Pentagon.

CBSN will begin its coverage at 11:30 AM, ET, anchored by CBSN anchor and CBS News correspondent Vladimir Duthiers and CBSN anchor Anne-Marie Green. CBSN will simulcast the Network’s special report.

CBS News’ social channels will live-stream the coverage, with live streaming coverage also featured on CBSNews.com, CBS News’ YouTube page at 11:30 AM, ET, and the CBS News Facebook page at 11:55 AM, ET.
