LOOKING FOR YOUR BIG BREAK? ENTER THE “CBS MORNINGS” MIXTAPE MUSIC COMPETITION

Calling all singers and musicians! This summer, the CBS MORNINGS Mixtape Music Competition is offering unsigned singers and musicians a chance to be featured in a CBS MORNINGS Mixtape Moment, our series that shares songs from emerging artists.

The contest invites viewers to create an original, upbeat and energetic cover of the Johnny Nash classic hit “I Can See Clearly Now.” Go to Mixtape.CBSNews.com to submit your original cover version of the song, in any musical genre, and find the full rules and details for the contest.

Viewers can vote on semifinalists’ performances, and the top three finalists will be featured on CBS MORNINGS. The grand prize winner will come to New York City, record their cover version of “I Can See Clearly Now” and be featured on CBS MORNINGS. The winner could also be featured in a new national promotional campaign for the show. Unsigned singers and musicians have until July 9 to submit their entry.

Do you have what it takes to win? Take a chance and enter the singing competition today.
