Paramount+ to Feature Star Cams Tracking Every Movement of One Elite Player for Each Club

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TODAY Pregame Coverage to Include Exclusive Interview Between Chelsea Star Christian Pulisic and CBS Sports Analysts Clint Dempsey, Charlie Davies and Oguchi Onyewu

Soccer Themed Edition of WE NEED TO TALK to Air on CBS Television Network and Stream on Paramount+ Before Pre-Match Coverage

CBS Sports’ first full season of UEFA Champions League coverage culminates this week with the 2021 UEFA Champions League Final between Manchester City vs. Chelsea, airing on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+ on Saturday, May 29 at 3:00 PM, ET.

Pregame coverage begins at 1:30 PM, ET with UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TODAY presented by Lays, hosted by Kate Abdo with analysts Jamie Carragher, Roberto Martinez and Micah Richards in studio, and joined by Peter Schmeichel, Guillem Balagué, Nico Cantor and Jenny Chiu reporting on-site from Estádio do Dragão in Porto, Portugal. As part of the pregame festivities, renowned DJ and producer Marshmello will perform in the UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE PEPSI KICKOFF SHOW beginning at 2:40 PM, ET.

Manchester City vs. Chelsea kicks off at 3:00 PM, ET, called by announcers Peter Drury and Rob Green. In addition to the pregame show, the UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TODAY studio team will also provide halftime and postgame commentary, while Schmeichel, Balagué, Cantor and Chiu will contribute with sideline coverage throughout the match. CBS Sports post-match coverage will air on the CBS Television Network until 5:30 PM, ET, and continue on CBS Sports Network until 6:30 PM, ET. Paramount+ will feature the entire 5 hours of coverage.

CBS Sports will introduce a new Star Cam as part of its coverage, with a dedicated camera tracking every movement and moment of one star player on each club. Each club’s Star Cam will be featured on Paramount+ as an additional viewing experience, immersing fans into every second of their club’s star player on the pitch.

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TODAY pregame coverage will include an exclusive feature interview between Chelsea midfielder and U.S. Men’s National Team star Christian Pulisic, and USMNT legends and current CBS Sports analysts Clint Dempsey, Charlie Davies and Oguchi Onyewu. Additional exclusive live interviews with stars from the world of sports will also be featured in the studio show coverage.

CBS Sports HQ, the 24/7 streaming sports news network, will bookend CBS Sports’ UEFA Champions League Final coverage with complementary two-hour pregame and postgame shows. CBS Sports will also host a second-screen experience watch party on its Twitch channel with hosts Aaron West and Tosin Makinde.

Additional CBS Sports programming on Saturday leading into UEFA Champions League coverage includes a soccer-themed edition of WE NEED TO TALK presented by Ford at 12:30 PM, ET, featuring Tina Cervasio, Sarah Kustok, Aly Wagner and Jules Breach.
